A Second War Group to the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps - 1939-1945 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence Medal; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Clasp; and War Medal 1939-1945. The five medals are court-mounted, dual push pin points on the reverse, plated, light contact, better than very fine. Accompanied by an independent City of Hamilton, Ontario War Commemorative Medal (gold-coloured gilt on metal, illustrating the right-facing conjoined busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and inscribed "THE PEOPLE OF HAMILTON REMEMBER YOUR VICTORY OUR FREEDOM", 35.2 mm, original tri-colour ribbon), extremely fine. Footnote: B/92648 Private W.W. Davis was from Hamilton, Ontario and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps during the Second World War.
