Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, plated, contact marks, better than very fine. Accompanied by his two Identification Tags (each stamped "B 628008 L/CPL. C.G. HANSEN C.E. CDN", on a neck rope), along with copies of his Service Records and Discharge Certificate; and Yugoslav Theatre Peacekeeping Pair: Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal; and NATO Service Medal, 1 Clasp - FORMER YUGOSLAVIA. Court-mounted, original ribbons, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: Private Charles Gustave Hansen enlisted with the Canadian Army on January 7, 1943 in Toronto, Ontario. He was attached to the Brockville Rifles on February 4th at Nanaimo, British Columbia and was promoted to Lance Corporal on June 26th. He is also credited with having served at Long Beach, Sydney and Aldershot. Upon completion of his war service, he was discharged at No. 2 District Depot in Toronto on May 15, 1946. A good proportion of his Service Records have been "blacked out".
