Sterling silver, marked "STERLING", maker marked "BIRKS" on the reverse, along with full-length original neck ribbon, contact marks and fading present on obverse. Better than very fine condition. Very fine condition. Footnote: Warrant Officer, Class II, Harvey Chambers Freeman was born 1920, in Parlakimedia, India to Reverend Sebra Crooker Freeman and Carrie Webber Freeman. He enlisted for the war in Hamilton on July 8, 1941 and left his wife Esther and child Marion Louisa in Toronto, Ontario. At the time of his death on November 5, 1943 he was employed as a civilian training instructor under British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP), located at Dominion Skyways (Training) Limited. Freeman is buried in the Hamilton (Woodland) Cemetery, grave reference: Sec. 24 Lot 335, East grave and is commemorated on page 161 in the Second World War Book of Remembrance.
