A Memorial Cross and Birks Bar to the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps - Memorial Cross, GRVI (B.118058 Tpr. S. BOZIK); and Birks Bar (TPR. R. BOZIK / R.C.A.C. / DIED IN HIS COUNTRY'S SERVICE / 30 JAN. 1944). Naming is officially engraved on both. Light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: Stephen Bozik was born in 1916, the son of George Bozik and Anastasia Bozik of Chippawa, Ontario and the husband of Helen Bozik of St. Catharines, Ontario. He died at the age of 28 and is buried in Niagara Falls (Lundy's Lane) Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Grave Reference: Plot 57. Section C. Grave 3. He is commemorated on page 256 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.
