Footnote: Private William R. Bain is shown on the roll of the 65 man Brockville Rifle Company and is listed on page 155 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp. He is documented on the roll as having been posted to Brockville, Ontario from March 8 to June of 1866.
