Footnote: Private Henry Thurston is shown on the roll of the 247 man 14th (The Princess of Wales’ Own Rifles) Battalion and is listed on page 88 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp. He is documented on the roll as having been posted to Cornwall, Ontario from June 2 to 22, 1866, with an "Attack Expected".
