WWI British War Medal - Canadian Engineers
(502385 SPR. A. HARRISON. C.E.). Naming is officially impressed. Dark patina, tarnished, on incorrect Victory Medal ribbon as worn by the veteran, better than fine. Footnote: Alfred Harrison was born on November 21, 1871 in Lobo Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, at tha age of 44. He signed his Attestation Paper on January 3, 1916 in London, Ontario, stating that he was married, that he belonged to an Active Militia (the 7th Field Company Canadian Engineers) and that his trade was that of Handyman. He served overseas with the Canadian Engineers during WWI.
