WWI British War Medal to the Canadian Cavalry Brigade -  (112029 L. CPL. E.G. CLEMENTS. CAN. CAV. BDE.). Naming is officially impressed. Dark patina on the reverse, cleaned on the obverse, light contact and surface wear, very fine.Footnote: (7th Canadian Mounted Rifles) Ernest George Clements was born on March 23, 1892 in London, England. He signed his Attestation Paper as a Corporal with the 7th Canadian Mounted Rifles, on January 12, 1915 in London, at the age of 22, naming his next-of-kin as his sister, Maud Bedden of London, stating that he had three years' previous service with the First Hussars, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Clerk.
