26th Infantry Battalion "New Brunswick Battalion" Cap Badge (in pickled copper, maker marked "R.J. INGLIS LIMITED" on the reverse, measuring 35.7 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), both lugs intact); 32nd Infantry Battalion "Manitoba and Saskatchewan Regiment" Cap Badge (in browning copper, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 37 mm (h), both lugs bent back but intact); and 41st Infantry Battalion "Canadiens Francais" Cap Badge (in pickled copper, maker marked "R.J. INGLIS LIMITED" on the reverse, measuring 40 mm (w) x 39 mm (h), one lug bent back but intact, the other lug is broken off). Ranging from near very fine to near extremely fine.

Footnote: The 26th Infantry Battalion "New Brunswick Battalion" was raised in New Brunswick with mobilization headquarters at Saint John under the authority of G.O. 36, March 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 13, 1915 with a strength of 42 officers and 1,108 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.L. McAvity. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 5th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920. The 32nd Infantry Battalion "Manitoba and Saskatchewan Regiment" was raised in Manitoba and Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Winnipeg, Manitoba under the authority of G.O. 36, March 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed February 23, 1915 with a strength of 35 officers and 962 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H.J. Cowan. In England, the Battalion became the 32nd Reserve Battalion and subsequently was absorbed into the 15th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920. The 41st Infantry Battalion "Canadiens Francais" was raised in Quebec City under the authority of G.O. 86, July 1, 1915, mobilized at Quebec City and sailed October 18th under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel L.A. Archambeault with a strength of 36 officers and 1,082 other ranks, aboard the S.S. Saxonia, arriving in in England on October 28, 1915. The Battalion was absorbed into the 10th Reserve Battalion in England and disbanded on September 15, 1920.
