This is an extremely well-preserved edition of “Arms & Accoutrements of the Mounted Police, 1873-1973: The First One Hundred Years”, by Roger F. Phillips and Donald J. Klancher. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding and retains a transparent cellophane dust jacket. The obverse of the cover bears a gilt embossed RCMP insignia. The interior content consists of 212 white paper stock pages with extensive information on historical RCMP equipment, including firearms and their accessories, swords, and field equipment, supplemented by 434 black-and-white photographs and illustrations. The book was published in 1982 by Museum Restoration Service of Bloomfield, Ontario. It measures 222 mm (w) x 280 mm (h).
