In pickled copper, voided, measuring 28.2 mm (w) x 44.7 mm (h), both lugs intact, green evident on the reverse, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Lethbridge, Alberta under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed September 27, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel W.A. Pryce Jones with a strength of 30 officers and 883 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 17th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
