In pickled copper, maker marked "R.J. INGLIS LIMITED" on the reverse, measuring 42.5 mm (w) x 44.2 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered wear in the pickled finish, very light contact, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Lambton County, with mobilization headquarters at Watford, under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed March 28, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G.G.C. Kelly with a strength of 18 officers and 439 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was broken up and absorbed into the 4th and 25th Reserve Battalions. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
