What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Browning copper, measuring 47.7 mm (w) x 51.8 mm (h), both lugs intact, cleaned, spotting, light contact, better than very fine.

 

Footnote: The Battalion was raised in the Montreal area with mobilization headquarters at Montreal, Quebec under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed September 27, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H. Barre with a strength of 24 officers and 515 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was broken up and absorbed into the 13th, 22nd, 24th and 87th Infantry Battalions and the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles.
