In pickled copper, voided, maker marked "CARON FRERES MONTREAL 1916" on the reverse, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact on the "167" designation, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec, with mobilization headquarters at Quebec City under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion was formed under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel O. Readman and re-designated the Quebec Recruiting Depot. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
