In browning copper, voided, maker marked "DINGWALL" on the reverse, measuring 37.5 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), both lugs intact but bent back, contact marks, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Battleford under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel R.P. Laurie with a strength of 13 officers and 286 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 15th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
