In antiqued copper, voided, maker marked "ELLIS BROS" on the reverse, measuring 41 mm (w) x 43.8 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Prince Albert under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed June 2, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.E. Bradshaw with a strength of 16 officers and 391 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 15th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
