In browning copper, maker marked "O.B. ALLAN VANCOUVER" on the reverse, measuring 37 mm (w) x 44.5 mm (h), both lugs intact, one of which is bent, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Southern British Columbia under the authority of G.O. 103A, August 15, 1915. The mobilization headquarters was at Vancouver, British Columbia. The Battalion sailed March 23, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J. Hulme with a strength of 36 officers and 1,037 other ranks. The Battalion was absorbed into the 30th Reserve Battalion in England. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
