(Canadian National Exhibition) within an ornate frame, with clusters of maple leaves at its base, dated "1916", engraved "TUG OF WAR 1st" and maker marked "J.D.B." (J.D. Bailey), measuring 31.7 m (w) x 36 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, very light contact, suspension ring and original ribbon.
2. Ontario Athletic Commission Medal for Lacrosse: two-piece construction, Ontario arms in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, mounted to a bronze gilt base illustrating a standing soldier leaning on a lacrosse stick, flanked by clusters of maple leaves on either side, framed by three ribbon banners inscribed "ONTARIO" "ATHLETIC" "COMMISSION", the aforementioned Ontario arms backed by crossed lacrosse sticks, reverse marked with a crown within an oval and maker marked "BAILEY", measuring 26.8 mm (w) x 39.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, with silvered metal suspension ring, exhibiting chipping in the white enamels on the Ontario arms on the obverse, along with scattered gilt wear on the reverse.
