What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Twenty-Two Percent (22%) of the Hammer Price

1. 5th Mounted Rifles Battalion Cap Badge: in pickled copper, maker marked "J.R. GAUNT LONDON" on the reverse, measuring 40.8 mm (w) x 42.5 mm (h), both lugs intact, one of which is a replacement.

2. 6th Mounted Rifles Battalion Cap Badge: in pickled copper, unmarked, measuring 41.7 mm (w) x 42.5 mm (h), both lugs intact.

Both badges exhibit greening and together, fine.

Footnotes:

1. The 5th Mounted Rifles Battalion was organized at Sherbrooke, Quebec, on March 15, 1915 and served in France and Holland. It was disbanded on November 15, 1920.

2. The 6th Mounted Rifle Battalion was organized ar Amherst, Nova Scotia, on March 15, 1915. It was disbanded on November 15, 1920.
