What's a max bid?

In die-stamped silver, unmarked, measuring 63.8 mm (w) x 90.5 mm (h), all three lugs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The 49th Regiment Hastings Rifles originated on September 14, 1866 in Stirling, Ontario, as the 49th Hastings Battalion of Infantry. It was re-designated on April 6, 1871 as the 49th Hastings Battalion of Rifles; and re-designated on May 8, 1900 as the 49th Regiment Hastings Rifles. It was amalgamated with the 16th Prince Edward Regiment on March 12, 1920. The design of this badge is illustrated on page 117 of "Canadian Militia Badges Pre 1914" by Daniel Mazeas (HP.191.).
