Bn.); and Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal (SERGEANT MAJOR J. BUCHANAN, 62nd. REGIMENT). Naming is officially impressed. Unmounted, original ribbons, the CAFLSM ribbon with pinback, dark patinas, light contact on the CGSM, near extremely fine. Footnote: Private James Buchanan, Saint John Volunteer Battalion, is listed on page 252 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen. Buchanan has been spelled with an additional "n" (Buchannan) on his CGSM.
