Footnote: James Crosgrey was born on July 4, 1853 in Cold Springs, Ontario and served as a Gunner with the Cobourg County Garrison Artillery. Although his final resting place is unknown, he did have a Brother, John Crosgrey (April 30, 1855 - December 19, 1893, who died at the age of 38) and a sister-in-law Mary Edith Fisher Crosgrey (January 7, 1865 - July 10, 1899, who died at the age of 34), both of whom are buried in Cold Springs Congregational Church Cemetery, Cold Springs, Northumberland County, Ontario, Grave Reference: Row B, Plot 8.
