What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

WWII The Diary Of A Staff Officer Book, Signed by Major-General Senior Officer Price J. Montague CMHQ - Entitled "The Diary Of A Staff Officer (Air Intelligence Liaison Officer at Advanced Headquarters North B.A.F.F. 1940", published by Methuen & Co. Ltd., London, Third Edition, signed in black ink "For my son in law Squadron Leader E.G.H. Thorncliff RCAF from Price Montague" and stamped in red ink "(P.J. Montague) Major-General Senior Officer Canadian Military Headquarters. 19 MAR 1941" on the inside leaf, hardcovered with a red linen exterior, eighty-eight pages printed in black ink on a thick white paper stock, includes four line maps of Belgium and France, light discolouration on the exterior, stain on page 21, near extremely fine. Footnote: Major-General Price. J. Montague C.G., C.M.G., D.S.O.,. M.C., V.D., took General Crerar's place as Senior Officer at Canadian Military Headquarters, London, in July 1940, when Crerar returned from England to become Chief of the General Staff, succeeding Major General T. V. Anderson. Montague had the important task of commanding the Reinforcement Units and other base establishments in England. He was also Alpha Phi (Delta Kappa Epsilon's highest ranking officer in World War II). DKE was one of the first fraternities, if not the first fraternity, to expand into Canada.
