A Second War Queen's Own Rifles Battledress - Named
With clear broad arrow marking, label reading "Size 7, height 5'7 - 5'8, breast 35" - 36", S&G Clothing Co. Ltd. April 1945., Named to "McLean, A.Coy", with early canvas shoulder flashes, has been privately altered around collar region with the addition of corduroy and added structural stitching. Two holes and mark on left sleeve where wound badge once was fastened. This jacket does exhibit signs of use with a tear in the lower left breast pocket, interior wearing, and wear of the added collar. Although there is mothing to the jacket on both the obverse and reverse, it remains solid. Very Fine.
