A WWI Silver Case to Lieut. Bethune; Canadian Field Artillery - Silver, illustrating a stylized otter's head and a banner inscribed "DEBONNAIR", engraved "LIEUT. N.G. BETHUNE. C.F.A OTTAWA" on the front cover, vertical striped pattern with a diamond shape offset to one corner on the back cover. Comes with a push closure and when opened, exposes a multi-buffed inside, tinted in a gold colour and is unmarked. The centre has a spring-loaded clam shell that is capable of holding ten cigarettes, measuring 84 mm x 84 mm x 16.5 mm, minor dents and contact marks on the covers, very fine.
