A First War Canadian Trench Cap 1918 - A rare and difficult to come by trench cap with all attractive characteristics; This cap has been worn and demonstrates a pleasing degree of period soiling. It has zero mothing. At one point there was a cap badge ion place using a slider with the oxidation on the interior still visable. Well marked: S.Schneiders & Sons 7 1/8, 1918 as well as broad arrow marked. Original chinstrap and leather buttons, overall better than very fine.
