What's a max bid?

Canada, Commonwealth. A Mark I Helmet, Named to Lieutenant Ridley Williams, RCOC 1940

In steel with a brownish-green finish, non-magnetic, with a 32 mm (w) x 30 mm (h) Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps insignia decal placed on the left side, the helmet with a steel strip protective edge at the opening and covered by a green and brown camouflage netting. Inside with a steel-framed cradle supporting a black rubberized canvas liner, four rubber pads on the underside against the sidewall, cross-shaped rubber pad held in place with a single bolt in the dome. It is stamped with the maker mark "C.L./C." (Canadian Lamp Company), the date "1940", the batch number "11", along with being named to "Lieut. Ridley Williams" just above the aforementioned marks on the underside at the rear, steel brackets with loops riveted in place on either side and housing a khaki canvas strap with a black finished adjustable buckle. The helmet measures 290 mm in width x 305 mm in height x 120 mm in depth, exhibiting very light wear. Near extremely fine.
