Silver with red and blue enamelled Royal Sussex Regiment insignia measuring 36.3 mm x 51.5 mm, the insignia raised upon a silver base incorporating a royal house rose design, hallmarked with the British lion, an anchor (made in Birmingham) and date marked "G" (1956) on one of the rose petals, engraved "FROM 1ST ROYAL SUSSEX REGT IN KOREA - TO R.C.A.M.C. - 1957" on the sterling silver ring surrounding the rose, the ring held in place via three pins, mounted to a 70.5 mm black-painted wooden base, green felt bottom, 47 mm in height, intact enamels on the insignia, bent and broken support on the reverse of the insignia, scattered chips and wear in the black paint on the base, the felt on the bottom peeling back, light contact, better than very fine.
