Canada. A Lot of Five Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Commissioned Ranks Shoulder Boards
Includes, in ascending order: a pair of Squadron Leader boards, along with single boards for an Air Vice-Marshal, Air Marshal and Air Chief Marshal. Each board incorporates rank stripes in light blue and black embroidery, the stripes stitched in place to a grayish-blue wool upper, two with a stiff fibre frame, three with a brass button bearing the crowned RCAF eagle insignia and one bearing the crowned RAF eagle insignia inserted into the button hole, the fifth board without a button, each with a grayish-wool underside and incorporating a black patent leather finished strap, one of which exhibits extensive wear, measuring 62 mm (w) x 158 mm (h) each. Also included are two embroidered rank sleeve stripes (measuring 150 mm (w) x 14 mm (h) and 155 mm (w) x 14 mm (h)), along with a pair of Flight Lieutenant Slip-On Shoulder Rank insignia (with two embroidered stripes sewn in place to a greenish-brown sleeve, measuring 60 mm (w) x 43 mm (h) each).
