WWI 134th Battalion Khaki Glengarry Cap 1918 - This glengarry cap has a finely textured, green-tinged khaki wool upper, with a 25 mm wide olive green reinforced ribbed border along the open end, supple leather headband stitched in place, that borders the ribbed border and wraps around to the inside, a 134th Infantry Battalion Glengarry Badge fabricated from silver plate on copper, overlaying a Davidson tartan swatch, surmounting a large black rosette on the left side, topped by a small olive green toorie, with dual olive green ribbons sewn together at the rear, inside is lined in dark green cotton, stamped in white ink with the Canadian Broad Arrow production insignia, stamped in green ink with the "AINSLIE- DINEEN HAT & FUR CO. LIMITED TORONTO" maker mark and sized "7 1/8", 93 mm x 290 mm, mothing evident on the exterior, exposing the lacquered burlap twine framework, near extremely fine.
