What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

WWI 1st Brigade London Division Cigarette Case - Silver, rounded corners, obverse brandishing a domed centrepiece with the engraved interlocking script initials "WR", ornate border surrounding the centrepiece, engraved "1st BRIGADE" and "LONDON-DIVISION" above and "ANDENKEN AN DAS RHEINLAND" (Souvenir of the Rhineland) below, inside is maker marked "A. SCHLEGEL G.M.B.H. COLN-NIPPES" on a disk behind the centrepiece, right side has a restraining spring held via hooks on either side, the left side has one of two hooks intact and is missing its restraining spring, hinged on the left side, push latch on the right side, measuring 75 mm x 95 mm x 19.5 mm, scuffing on the obverse, light contact overall, very fine.
