A 1920 War Air Ministry Envelope Addressed to a Canadian Captain
Canada, Great Britain; Air Ministry Envelope dated August 1922, obverse marked "ON HIS MAJESTY'S SERVICE." at the top, "Registered." at the upper left and "Air Ministry." at the lower right, addressed in handwritten black ink to "Capt. G.B. Carr / Fishburn Alberta Canada", with four stamps (Air Ministry, Custom Excise, and two others), reverse with a red wax seal bearing the British coat-of-arms and inscribed "AIR MINISTRY" above, along with for postal stampings, one of which is dated "15 AUG 1922", text printed in black ink, on a white paper stock, 77 mm x 202 mm, opened on the right end, exhibiting wear and soiling, fair.
