A Rare Second War Canadian "Buy Victory Bonds" Propaganda Poster
Created by Canadian artist Charles Rich Wilcox (?-1970). Charles Rich Wilcox designed majority of the recruitment posters during the war. This is 1 of 700 original propaganda posters produced in Canada during WWII (1939 – 1945). The poster is in very fine condition with a minor crease throughout the bottom. Poster has a lithograph signature of “Wilcox” and contains a “No.3.A.V.L” insignia at the bottom right corner. The poster measures 18” x 23 ¼” and was professionally linen-backed “ACID FREE” to preserve its quality giving it a full size of 20” x 25” with matt.
