WWI 102nd Infantry Battalion "North British Columbians" Cap Badge CEF - Gilt on browning copper, unmarked, 42 mm x 49.3 mm, intact lugs, gilt wear, surface oxidation on the reverse, better than very fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Northern British Columbia with mobilization headquarters at Comox under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 20, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.W. Warden with a strength of 37 officers and 968 other ranks. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 11th Infantry Brigade, 4th Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
