WWI 103rd Infantry Battalion Collar Tab CEF - Pickled brass, unmarked, 34.2 mm x 34.7 mm, lugs replaced by a horizontal pinback, near extremely fine.Footnote: The Battalion itself was raised and mobilized in Victoria, British Columbia under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed July 24, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel E.C.J. Henniker with a strength of 37 officers and 939 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 16th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
