WWI 131st Infantry Battalion "Westminster Battalion" Collar Pair - Browning copper, maker marked "O.B. ALLAN." on their reverses, 28.2 mm x 32.2 mm with intact prongs and 28.5 mm x 30.6 mm with horizontal pinback respectively, extremely fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in New Westminster under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.D. Taylor with a strength of 32 officers and 954 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 30th Infantry Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
