WWI 133rd Infantry Battalion Norfolk's Own Cap Badge CEF - Browning copper, unmarked, 43 mm x 44 mm, intact lugs, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Norfolk County, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Simcoe under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel A.C. Pratt with a strength of 21 officers and 665 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 23rd Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
