WWI 162nd Infantry Battalion Collar Badge CEF - Browning copper, unmarked, 28.3 mm x 28.5 mm, intact lugs, surface green oxidation, extremely fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Parry Sound, Ontario under the authority of G.O. 151, December 2, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J. Arthurs with a strength of 37 officers and 776 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was broken up and absorbed into the 3rd and 4th Reserve Battalions. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
