What's a max bid?

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

WWI 20th Infantry Battalion Cap Badge; 2nd Version - Browning copper, voided, maker marked "J.R. GAUNT LONDON" on the reverse, 38.3 mm x 48.6 mm, light wear, better than very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Central and Northern Ontario and mobilized in Toronto under the authority of G.O. 36, March 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed May 15, 1915 aboard the S.S. Megantic, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.A.W. Allen, with a strength of 35 officers and 1,100 other ranks, arriving in England on May 24th. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 4th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
