WWI 29th Infantry Battalion Cap Badge CEF - Browning copper, unmarked, 37.3 mm x 38.3 mm, intact lugs, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Vancouver, British Columbia under the authority of G.O. 36, March 15, 1915. The Battalion sailed May 20, 1915 with a strength of 37 officers and 1,090 other ranks under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel H.S. Tobin. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 6th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
