What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

WWI 4th and 7th Infantry Battalions Collar Insignia -  4th Infantry Battalion (bronze, maker marked "TIPTAFT" on the reverse, 11 mm x 32 mm, intact lugs and pin); and 7th Infantry Battalion (bronze, unmarked, 14.7 mm x 26.7 mm, intact lugs and pin). Light contact and surface wear, better than very fine. Footnote: The 4th Infantry Battalion was raised in Central Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P.C.O. 2067, August 6, 1914. The Battalion sailed October 3, 1914 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel R.H. Labatt, with a strength of 42 officers and 1,084 other ranks. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 1st Infantry Brigade, 1st Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920. The 7th Infantry Battalion was raised in British Columbia and mobilized at Camp Valcartier, Quebec under the authority of P.C.O. 2067, August 6, 1914, sailing on October 3, 1914 with a strength of 47 officers and 1,176 other ranks, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel W. Hart-McHarg. The Battalion served in France and Belgium with the 2nd Infantry Brigade, 1st Canadian Division. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
