A document dated July 2, 1868, granting the military status of Retirement with Merit to Guadalupe Leon, in recognition of the services rendered during the war against the Second Mexican Empire (where he was amputated as it is read on the document), presenting original signature of President Porfirio Diaz, along with a period Mexican stamp on the top and printed coat of arms of the Mexican Republic. The document is shown within a black frame with front glass, measuring 397 mm (w) x 535 mm (h), light contact, very good condition.
