(La Cruz de Mérito Revolucionario). Instituted in 1939. Three-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red and blue enamels, measuring 49 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), original ribbon suspended from a hanger with pinback, loss evident in the red enamels on the arm at 5 o'clock, scattered gilt wear, fine.
Footnote: The Type I version of the Cross for Revolutionary Merit was instituted on October 5, 1939 and was awarded to participants in fighting against the government of President Porfirio Diaz between November 1910 and May 1911.
