What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Purple Heart (two-piece construction, bronze gilt with purple enamels, 17.3 mm x 21 mm); First World War Victory Medal (bronze gilt, 17.5 mm, three bronze stars on the ribbon); New York Medal of Honor for World War Service 1917-1919 (bronze gilt, 17.5 mm); New York 7th Regiment Long and Faithful Service Medal (bronze, maker marked with the Dieges & Clust maker mark on the reverse, 16.5 mm); and American Legion Membership Badge (two-piece construction, bronze star affixed to a bronze gilt and blue enameled base, marked "PAT.DE.54296" and maker marked "B" on the reverse, 15.5 mm, "PAST COMMANDER" bar on the ribbon). Mounted to a suspension with three push pins on the reverse, original ribbons, intact enamels, extremely fine.
