What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

This is a worn example of the award: Bronze gilt with green and enamels, un-named, marked "THE CONGRESS TO" on the reverse of the eagle and VALOR suspension, 37.5 mm x 57.5 mm inclusive of its eagle and VALOR suspension, on a period original full-length neck ribbon with horizontal octagonal thirteen star cravat pad sewn in place on what appears to be a period replacement neck ribbon, triple snap closure, intact enamels, extremely fine. Accompanied by its 10 mm x 35.7 mm Ribbon Bar and 12 mm x 13.5 mm Rosette, in its hardshelled case of issue, marked "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" on the lid, lightly soiled medal bed, case near extremely fine.
