What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Bronze gilt, obverse illustrating a left-facing soldier bearing a rifle standing on a parapet, an ocean scene and sun rays in the background, reverse illustrating a downward-pointing sword, inscribed "TO ONE WHO SERVED THE NATION WITH HONOR 1898 1899 1900" in the centre, surrounded by the inscription "AWARDED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK", 34 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback, maker marked "DIEGES & CLUST" and impressed "1047" on the pinback, traces of gilt remain, light contact, better than very fine.
