United States; Bronze, unmarked, badge illustrating crossed rifles fronting an open-ended wreath, the wreath composed of branches of laurel leaves and joined together at the base with a bow-tied ribbon, the badge measuring 31 mm x 34 mm and suspended from a 6 mm x 50.5 mm bar inscribed "EXPERT RIFLEMAN" flanked by ornate leafing at either end, the bar with horizontal pinback, mint. In its cardboard box of issue, label affixed to the lid inscribed "ONE EXPERT RIFLEMAN'S BADGE / BRONZE / ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL / 1915" and coded "E 7630 32", with its original pink cotton batten packaging, box better than extremely fine.
