What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Includes: Army Air Force Aerial Gunner Badge (in sterling silver, marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 76.5 mm (w) x 23 mm (h), horizontal pinback); three Divisional Airborne Patches (each with a 37 mm (w) x 20.5 mm (h) silvered parachutist badge affixed to a 50.5 mm (w) x 35 mm (h) multi-colored embroidered patch base, each with dual push pins); four Army Collar Disks (includes two First Special Service Force, one Infantry and one U.S. service, in brass, measuring 25.5 mm in diameter each, two with a screwback, two with dual push pins); two Army Infantry Collar Badges (in bronze gilt, measuring 38 mm (w) x 17.2 mm (h) each, both with dual push pins); two Army Marksmanship Qualification badges: Expert Badge with Submachine Gun Clasp (in sterling silver, marked "STERLING" and hand numbered "8261" with the initials "H M B" on the reverse, measuring 28.8 mm (w) x 44.5 mm (h), horizontal pinback) and Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Clasp (in sterling silver, marked "STERLING", marked "N" within a circle and hand numbered "8261" on the reverse, measuring 26 mm (w) x 39.5 mm (h) inclusive of its clasp, horizontal pinback).
