What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

1. Joint Chiefs of Staff Identification Badge: two-piece construction, insignia in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, mounted to a silvered bronze wreath base, maker marked "N.S. MEYER, INC. NEW YORK" with the company's insignia and marked with "22" over "M" within a shield on the reverse, measuring 52.5 mm (w) x 57 mm (h), triple push pins.

2. General George C. Marshall V-E Day Commemorative Medal: in frosted silver, maker marked "MEDALLIC ART CO. N.Y.", marked ".999 PURE SILVER" and number stamped "1267" on the edge, marked "E.R.G.-R.BECK" and copyrighted "O.A.M. 1970" on the obverse, measuring 44.3 mm in diameter, exhibiting red residue on both sides.

3. Aerial Gunner Badge Dress Wings: two-piece construction, in sterling silver, marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 51.2 mm (w) x 17.5 mm (h), horizontal pinback.
