Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a central ribbed shield bearing a raised letter “G”, flanked on each side by wings with detailed featuring, the reverse with a ball hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a rounded catch with a functional sliding lock mechanism, maker marked “AMCRAFT, ATTLEBORO, MASS” for American Metal Crafts of Attleboro, Massachusetts, with a silver mark of “STERLING” for a content of 925, measuring 76.97 mm (w) x 23.62 mm (h), weighing 21.4 grams, minor loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
